Ear candling, or ear coning, is a folk medicine practice intended to remove earwax (cerumen) and toxins from a person's ear by placing one end of a hollow candle in the ear canal and lighting the other end of the candle. In theory, the vacuum created by the heat of the burning end of the candle can clean out the ear. Resources in this category include products, information and education about ear candling, practitioners and testimonials.
